Render Cleaning
Support Clean roof cleaning is an important service for maintaining the longevity and appearance of a roof. It involves removing dirt, algae, and other debris that can accumulate over time, damaging the roof and reducing its curb appeal. Support Clean use high-pressure washing or specialized cleaning solutions to safely and effectively clean roofs, restoring them to their original condition.
Why have your render cleaned?
Rendered properties are highly susceptible to mould, lichen, algae and even moss growth on the surface of the render. Painting over render in an attempt to restore the appearance will likely lead to the paint flaking away, since the paint will not adhere effectively to a surface that is colonised by living organisms such as algae, lichens and mould. Furthermore, existing algae and particularly mould spores are surprisingly resilient at growing through coats of paint.
Cleaning a rendered surface before painting would ensure that the paint lasts for much longer since the algae and mould will no longer be present and the paint will adhere more effectively to a clean surface. However, once your render has been professionally cleaned, the resultant appearance is so impressive that painting would be unnecessary, -unless a change of render colour was desired.
At Support Clean we understand the stringent process of render cleaning and are able to clean the render to your property. Pressure washing or even super-heated treatment alone will not remove the build-up of algae, fungus and mould. At Support Clean we apply a professional grade biocide which not only safely and effectively kills the algae at source but makes your property look amazing. The biocide acts as a disinfectant and kills all organic growth without damaging the render surface. We use a low pressure technique known as soft washing to clean your render, which ensures the render is protected, whilst ensure a thorough and long lasting clean.
